My name is Lin Jiaxuan, I was born in Wenzhou, a small city in southern Zhejiang. As a freshman in the Sino-foreign Cooperative E-commerce class, I  would like to share my prospects and planning for College Life.

I have been interested in the English language since I was a child, and I am fortunate to have joined the School of International Education to start a new journey. A Chinese-foreign joint program requires a passion for  specialized courses, a strong foundation in English, and an international perspective. While I may face great study pressure, I am still full of hope for the future.

In the meantime, we all garner new status, freshmen in Grade 23 of Yango Univerisity, majoring in e-commerce. I am very glad to be a part of the big family.College is not like high school, where teachers set daily learning goals for students and ask them to bury themselves in their studies. The atmosphere of the college is free, but freedom does not mean indulgence, it means that we need to self-manage and form self-learning abilities.

As the saying goes, College is a prelude to a career. Precisely, we should  plan for the future in advance. And pursue it step by step.

Now I will share my ideas about how to make a university life planning.   It’s carried out in the following eight steps:

1. Conduct a self-assessment .       

2.Generate planning awareness.

3.Establish goals.Correctly establish the direction and development path of self-study in college. 

4.Develop a plan. Formulate practical plans based on the identified goals, and break down the goals into thousands of   small goals.

5.Execute the plan. In the process of  implementing the plan, it is necessary to be strict with oneself and at the same time to persevere.

6.Adjustment and correction. If there is an error in the  steps above, calmly analyze the cause of the problem and correct it in time.

7.Continue planning. If there are no mistakes in the plan, it is necessary to continue steadfastly.

In university, we will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities. The school sports meeting invites us to break a sweat, while the diverse community awaits our contributions. Additionally, there are numerous off-campus volunteer service opportunities that we can participate in and make a difference. I am looking forward to improving my language proficiency, enhancing my overall quality, and excelling in my profession through my university studies. To enhance my competitiveness, I also intend to take advantage of the opportunity provided by China and foreign countries to study  abroad. This will not only help me improve my professional ability but will also enrich my life and lead to personal growth.

The school motto of “strong and honest, bright and new” still resonates with us. I hope that we will gain valuable life experiences, acquire professional knowledge, and become better versions of ourselves during our time at Yango University!
